I started after many years of just watercolors and photoshop to paint in oil. This is small quick sketch.

Color Key in Photoshop,

I’ve been working on this problem, that is trying to
make my layout drawing transform to a color painting and
still be able to move things around, darken and lighten,
paint over and add texture and not mush up the edges.
So with photoshop I painted over a drawing keeping all
the bits on separate layers. Then made a design from
the bits and it’s in color and I can adjust it.

The 2 watercolors above are from my last year in College ( 1979 ) that I spent in Italy. I did around 50 watercolors sometimes 3 a day all painted on the spot.

I did this drawing a year ago on a business trip to Singapore. It started as a pencil drawing, scanned and then colored in photo shop.
