I’ve been working on this problem, that is trying to
make my layout drawing transform to a color painting and
still be able to move things around, darken and lighten,
paint over and add texture and not mush up the edges.
So with photoshop I painted over a drawing keeping all
the bits on separate layers. Then made a design from
the bits and it’s in color and I can adjust it.
